What's on this weekend?
D3 Shootout
Bracketing for a moment the question of how is it possible that the folks organizing this swim-meet have not changed the name, I think we can all agree that this weekend the center of the Division III universe is Chicago’s Myers-McLoraine Pool.
It is quite the lineup (and I think SwimCloud has Hope way too low).
Kenyon visits Denison
This weekend, D3SO will be in Granville watching two legendary Division III powerhouses sandbag each other. And possibly themselves.
With more than half of Kenyon’s swim team yet to compete, it is hard to get a read on what this team has to offer. Hopefully, by the end of the weekend we will know more about Kenyon. And probably less about Denison, because nothing Big Red does in these early dual meets means anything.
NYU hosts an invitational and will swim against good D3 opponents from Drew and Stevens Institute…Emory also hosts an invitational and will compete against the usual assortment of Division II programs…Case Western travels to Rochester for their second in-conference dual meet, possibly a record for the UAA…and more. We will be back with a wrap-up early next week.
Have fun out there.
