Been a great year for college swim teams with their names being associated with a type of tree. I think Chicago has a good chance to be within striking distance, but this is monumental. Is this the biggest gap in SRS history between teams?

Agree on those points.

It is a massive gap, but I think its primary value is the entertainment of just watching this team dunk on everyone for a while. I think after Total Performance, the Denison Invite, Phoenix, etc we will get some narrowing. I expect the Chicago men especially and Kenyon woman to make the whole thing seem a little less ridiculous by mid-December. Then bring in NYU, Williams, MIT etc.

Right now Emory is looking like the 07 Patriots, or basically any pre 2011 Kenyon team if I have to keep my references rooted in DIII swimming. After a decade + of parity on the men's side especially, dynastic teams might be back

Jon Howell recruiting masterclass. I expect their team / recruits to just keep getting stronger. Also, is it too early to call the Emory men’s 4-peat now?

What is the most unbelievable to me about this is that the gap between the Emory men and the rest of the division will only grow. I think the only chance Chicago might have is that so many Emory men make nationals that no one on the team rests for UAAs… even then I doubt they come close. The 4-peat is inevitable and I think the streak is just beginning.

Wondering that myself. Agree with White Wolf about Chicago looking strong, and then there are always surprises (kind of wondering if we are snoozing on the Denison men). But yeah, if Eagles 4-peat you will have called it in mid-November. :)

You forgot to mention G. He has been "cooking" literally (40oz steak (300% daily cholesterol) + avocado + sliced banana + 2 eggs with enough black pepper on them to kill a small child). Eaten off a cutting board like an alpha. This is his nightly recovery meal. He lowkey can't be eating sc*nes tho. Dont sleep on him (emphasis on the word "him").
